aw, poor fella. better soon xx
Poor little soul. Although it's better kiddies get it younger as it gets worse as they get older.
Try grinding a cup of porridge oats or use ready brek and put it in the bath. Something to do with the enzymes in the oats helping to prevent the itching. I thought it was a load of mumbo jumbo when I got told this old wives tale but with 3 kiddies aged 3, 18 months and 6 months, breaking out within days of each other I found it really worked.
It won't have any visible effects but making them more comfortable (especially at night!) is worth it.
Wishing him better soon x
Oh Jay! Kieran had Chicken pox when he was 2yrs old and he had it BAD! He was really quite ill. It was pretty horrific to be honest. Sympathy for you all. I hope it passes soon x
Bless his little heart! I can't help you will solutions because my kids haven't ever had it (they were vaccinated against it in the states).
Poor baby! The oatmeal bath thing really works – just tie some porridge oats up in a square of muslin/foot of old tights/hankie and hang around the tap whilst running the bath so the water dribbles through. Makes a lovely soothing bath. Add a drop of lavender oil if you have it too, it will help him relax. Hope he perks up again very soon xx
Oh, your poor baby! (And poor you.) I hope the misery ends soon!
